Position Title: TikTok Advertising Intern

Internship Term: Summer 2024

Compensation: College credit [MUST be enrolled in college course]

Desired Fields of Study: Marketing, Communications, Business

Hours Desired: 15-20/week

A day in the life:

• A TikTok Advertising Intern is responsible for supporting several accounts under the direction of the Digital Marketing Manager. This role is integral in the TikTok department and these individuals will have the opportunity to work closely with content creators, influencer marketing experts, and community managers.

Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of performance marketing via TikTok ads platform
• Executes campaign builds A-Z with redundancy across channels
• Active execution of optimizations with regards to performance improvements relative to goals
• Strong marketing and business strategy acumen
• Complete understanding of the marketing funnel and how to execute via paid social
• Full understanding of eCommerce model and basic lead gen strategies
• Complete understanding of paid social KPIs
• Support with performance reporting and strategy communication
• Ability to leverage data to tell a story and articulate results to clients and key stakeholders with clear next steps

• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, organized, and able to work autonomously
• Understanding of the online advertising industry and social media
• Confident communicator and an excellent writer
