Just think, the amount of loss that had happened had to have been incomprehensible. Literally everything from that universe had been wiped away because of him. Everything. Not just earth. Couldn’t even imagine how heart shattering the survivor’s guilt could have been when you’re the only one that came outta there and the reason for that dimension to unravel to begin with.

Miguel is a champ for not going under, instead using that experience to do good. As far as that goes, you can see he was misguided because of that traumatic event. He was on the right track but yk,,, That had to happen.
